Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka was born in the city of Torrance in California. Her mother Carrie, an accomplished musician as well, encouraged her to take up the profession of musician. She was born in Torrance, California, AJ was inspired by her mom, Carrie, who herself was an accomplished musician. AJ lived her first years mostly in Torrance as well as Seattle. In the beginning, the sisters began playing the guitar and piano. Once they reached adolescence they had become professionals in their field. AJ was just five years old at the time she began performing in plays at her church. AJ played a part with her school's musical performances. AJ began her professional career in acting in 2002, as an 11-year-old girl for the show "Passions'.
